In complement to the crosslinking-MS technology for conformational epitope mapping, CovalX is now offering another method based on mass spectrometry: Hydrogen/Deuterium exchange (HDX) coupled with mass spectrometry (HDXMS). This method is allowing characterization of conformational epitopes with a resolution of 5-6 amino acids. To perform these analysis, CovalX is using a robotic sample handling system in combination with nLC-Orbitrap MS/MS analysis. This instrumentation gives repeatability, resolution and robustness to the analysis.
